1. Introduction

Welcome to Redwing Joinery these terms and conditions (the “Agreement”) govern your use of our joinery services (the “Services”). By engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

2. Scope of Services

• We offer a range of joinery services, as detailed in the project proposal or estimate provided to you.
• Any changes or modifications to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

3. Payment

• You are required to pay the agreed-upon price for the Services as specified in the project proposal or estimate.
• Payment terms are a 40% deposit and the remaining 60% on completion.
• Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month above the bank of England base rate on the outstanding balance.

4. Timelines and Delays

• We strive to complete the Services within the agreed-upon timeline but may not be liable for delays beyond our control, such as acts of nature or material shortages.

5. Quality and Warranty

• We warrant that all joinery work will meet professional standards.
• Notify us of defects or issues with the Services within 30 days of completion, and we will, at our discretion, repair or replace any defective work.

6. Liability

• We are not liable for loss or damage to your property or any third-party property unless caused by our negligence.

7. Intellectual Property

• Designs, drawings, or plans created during the project remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes shall be subject to mediation and, if necessary, the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Entire Agreement

• This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties, superseding all prior agreements.
